Expertise
Boiler whispering, thermostat tuning, home heating mastery, and a diploma in extreme cosiness. Also fluent in both Roar-speak and British sarcasm. Has been known to fix plumbing issues too.
Education
The “Prestigious School of Prehistoric Home Comforts”. Majored in Warmthology, minored in Tea-Making Science (Yorkshire Gold specialty). Opted out of coffee-making optional classes. Has a minor in Paleontology.
Hobbies
Lounging on orange beanbags, being a social media star, and giving radiators affectionate pats of approval.

Derek the Dinosaur has been a WarmZilla hero from the beginning. It began as a simple (and orange) idea to bring personality to the heating world and has since evolved into the lovable, home service dino we know today.
Through the years, Derek has grown and changed, proving that even dinosaurs can master modern technology! Let’s take a look at his evolutionary journey.
2018
Derek was created in New York by a design company with one goal: to make the heating industry less boring.
2020
Derek plushies hit the scene. Soft, cuddly, and a fan-favourite from day one.
2021
Life-sized Derek arrived! Our mascot suit brought him to events and made him instantly recognisable.
2022
Derek merch went wild! From bucket hats to mugs, WarmZilla fans could finally rep their favourite dinosaur.
2023
Derek got a glow-up. Sharper, brighter, and bolder—but still the same lovable dino. Just in time for his TV debut, and his introduction to the silver screen brought national recognition for our orange dinosaur.
2024
Derek gets animated! Working with a design team, our orange dino is now moving on through our videos!
