Baxi Boiler Error Codes / Fault Codes List

Baxi Boiler

Baxi boilers are normally quite a reliable brand of boiler, but even the most reliable boilers sometimes encounter an issue. When your Baxi boiler encounters an error, it will lockout to prevent any further harm coming to you or, even worse, the boiler (it’s an expensive bit of kit).

When your Baxi locks out, an error code will be displayed on the LCD screen to help you identify what the issue is. The fault codes are listed in your boiler manual but it’s probably just easier to Google the error code and get the answer right here on the WarmZilla website.

Some faults you will be able to fix yourself but some will require a Gas Safe registered engineer to look at. This guide is intended to help you identify your boiler issue so you can get a rough idea of the costs to fix it, it is illegal to open the casing of your boiler and attempt to fix it yourself.

If your boiler isn’t working but it isn’t displaying a fault code either then check your water, gas, and electricity supplies to ensure there is no issue with supply. If you have a prepay meter, make sure you have credit. Check your property has running water from the cold taps, that your gas is working by lighting the hob or gas fire and that your electricity is working by turning on a light. Your boiler may be on a separate circuit, so if the rest of your home has electricity but the LCD display on your boiler isn’t displaying anything your boiler may not be receiving power and you may need to call an electrician or Gas Safe engineer.

If your boiler is getting on in years and you would like a quote on a new boiler, then give WarmZilla a try. Prices start from £1,489 including installation, wireless controls, system cleanse, system filter, and a guarantee lasting between 5 & 10 years depending on which boiler model you select. Just answer a few simple questions about your home and you will be given a selection of boilers suitable for your needs in just a few minutes.

WarmZilla offers boiler finance starting from as little as £9.80 per month, with 0% interest over 2 years on selected boilers. Our lenders have a very high acceptance rate, even if you have a bad credit history.

If you are unsure about what boiler is the most suitable for your home, why not try out our Boiler Comparison tool that allows you to compare up to three boiler models or brands at one time, to help you find the perfect boiler.

Hopefully, it won’t cost much to get your Baxi boiler fixed but it may be worthwhile getting a WarmZilla boiler quote so you can weigh up your options.

BAXI 105 HE Boiler Error/Fault Codes

The Baxi 105 HE is a discontinued condensing combi boiler with an energy-efficiency rating of B. If you’re experiencing issues with your Baxi 105 HE boiler then, given its age, we would recommend upgrading it to a modern a-rated energy efficient boiler.

The Baxi 105 HE doesn’t display fault codes but the manual provides a fault-finding section to allow you, or more likely a Gas Safe engineer to identify the issue.
