Guide to all Worcester Bosch Gas Combi Boiler Models

Worcester Bosch 8000 Life Style

Do you need a new Worcester combi boiler?

In this guide, we’ll be giving you an explanation of ALL Worcester Bosch gas combi boilers. We’ll include all the key specifications on each so you get an understanding of each boiler’s performance.

If you’re looking for a guide to Worcester Bosch Gas System Boilers or Worcester Bosch Regular Gas Boilers then we’ve created a guide for those too. If you aren’t sure what type of boiler you currently have then we’ve got you covered on that front too. You’re welcome!

Worcester Bosch is a boiler brand that has become synonymous with reliability and performance, a brand regularly recognised by Which? Awards. In the 2022 Boiler Brands report carried out by Which? Worcester Bosch scored brilliantly once again, being awarded Which? Best Buys across its entire Greenstar gas and oil boiler ranges. Worcester Bosch performed exceptionally for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Worcester has built an enviable reputation for customer aftercare, which is reflected in their 4.6/5 average boiler review score on Trustpilot. Customers are obviously happy with the product and the customer care they receive.

A telling quote from the company’s founder Mr Robert Bosch (1861-1942), still informs how the company operates today:

“I have always acted according to the principle that I would rather lose money than trust. The integrity of my promises, the belief in the value of my products and in my given word have always had higher priority to me than a transitory profit.”

How many companies in modern society can say they hold themselves to the same principles Mr Bosch did?

It wasn’t until 1992 that the Bosch Group joined forces with Worcester to become Worcester Bosch. Not many companies have such a rich history as that of the Bosch Group & Worcester.

Now that we know a bit about the background of Worcester Bosch, let’s dive in and see what their products deliver. You can click on a boiler model below to go straight to that particular boiler or browse at your leisure.

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 Life combi boiler

Worcester Bosch Lifestyle boiler

The Worcester Bosch Life model is available as a combi and a system boiler. The first thing you notice about the Life boiler is that it looks like a giant iPhone rather than a boiler. Dubbed the ‘Beautiful Beast’, Worcester has clearly put a lot of effort into the design of the boiler.

The Worcester Bosch Life is a direct replacement for one of the most popular boilers on the market, the Worcester Bosch Greenstar CDi Classic. The Life features all the good stuff from the CDi Classic but with some added benefits:

  • Most powerful wall hung Worcester Bosch boiler, with outputs of up to 50kW
  • Updated controls that are easier to read and use
  • Intelligent Filling System to maintain optimum pressure
  • Compatible with wireless controls
  • Runs quietly
  • Outstanding build quality from a trusted manufacturer
  • Looks beautiful mounted on your wall

Obviously having a great-looking boiler doesn’t mean much if it isn’t reliable and although it’s early in the boiler’s ‘Lifespan’, it looks like it will offer the reliability that’s come to be expected of the Worcester Bosch brand. It comes with a 10-year guarantee as standard, so Worcester feels that it’s reliable enough to back for a decent length.

The Life has been designed to fit in place of a kitchen cupboard so that it can be seen, but with its quiet running technology, it shouldn’t be heard (much). So if your boiler is on display then this is definitely the boiler for you.

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 Style combi boiler

WB Style black 30kw

The Style is the highest spec wall-mounted boiler on offer from Worcester Bosch, it offers all the same benefits that the Life model offers (see above) but it also offers a bit more.

It’s available in a high-gloss white or black finish and it features a full-colour touchscreen display, making it easier to see and it offers full explanations of any errors without the need to decode the error message in the handbook.

  • The design-led approach makes it the best looking boiler on the market
  • Highest hot water flow rates available
  • The intelligent Filling System can regain the correct pressure if it drops for any reason
  • Full-colour display

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 2000 combi boiler

WB 2000

The 2000 series of boilers is a scaled-back version of the LifeStyle series from Worcester Bosch. It features some of the same great design but at a lower (and more affordable spec).

The 2000 series is only available in a 25 & 30kW output, so it caters for the flats/smaller houses side of the market, whereas the LifeStyle models go up to 50kW which is suitable for very large houses.

  • Worcester Bosch’s quietest combi boiler yet
  • Perfectly designed to fit between kitchen cupboards
  • Great value for such impressive build quality
  • 10-year guarantee on the primary heat exchanger
  • 5-year guarantee on the boiler

If you don’t have a high demand for heating/hot water then the 2000 series is an ideal option, offering an affordable way of enjoying the reliability and performance that Worcester has to offer without breaking the bank.

The 2000 boiler offers more limited compatibility with external controls (wireless controls/smart thermostats), so check before buying whether it’s compatible with what you currently have.

The Worcester Bosch 2000 is actually quieter than the Life & Style boilers but it offers reduced specs in terms of flow rate. The display is a simpler affair but it’s still a great boiler at an impressively low price.

Worcester Bosch Boiler Problems and Repairs

While Worcester Bosch boilers offer quality and reliability, things can still go wrong now and then. No boiler is immune from problems, which is why it’s so important that you have your Worcester Bosch boiler serviced every year.

If you’re experiencing an issue with your boiler, we have a blog that covers common boiler issues and how you can fix them.

Worcester Bosch Boiler Fault Codes

As with all appliances, over time, your boiler’s efficiency will naturally decline slightly, however, ensuring that your boiler has an annual service will help to prevent your boiler from suddenly breaking down on you, as well as expensive repair costs.

If your Worcester Bosch boiler develops a fault, the corresponding fault code or error code will usually appear on the boiler itself. The fault code should help your engineer to identify and diagnose any problems with your boiler so that they can resolve them as quickly as possible.

If your boiler is displaying a fault code, our guide to Worcester Bosch Boiler Errors and Fault Codes should help you find out what the code means.

Having looked at the prices for Worcester Bosch combi, system and regular boilers and the brand reviews, we can see that Worcester Bosch are very reliable, as you would expect from precision German engineering. We hope this blog has helped you find the perfect new Worcester Bosch boiler for your new home.

Worcester Bosch boilers on finance

Boiler finance is the most popular payment option – you can spread the cost interest-free (0% APR) over 24 months or up to 10 years (11.9% APR) if you want to get those monthly payments right down. The monthly repayments on your boiler finance plan will depend on the length of term finance you select, the boiler you choose, and the deposit amount you choose to pay.

Worcester Bosch finance with a bad credit history

If you’re applying for boiler finance/credit, the finance provider will do a credit check which is standard practice.

Generally speaking, the pass rates for boilers on finance are quite high, and our selected finance providers are known for their high acceptance rates too. But in some cases, if you’ve had a recent CCJ or any IVAs within the last 5 years, it can get a bit tricky – so please contact our support team to find out more about the available finance options to you and how we could help.
