The Logic Plus Heat H12 regular boiler is compact and lightweight so that it can be installed neatly in replacement of a standard kitchen cupboard. However, it is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular gas boiler, you will need to accommodate for the additional cold water tank and feed that is typically located in the attic, as well as a hot water cylinder.
This is because regular boilers are fed by a cold water cistern, this water is then heated in the unit and stored in a separate hot water cylinder for when needed. For this reason, we don’t recommend regular boilers to comes with limited space. On the plus side, this means you will have access to instant hot water whenever you need it.
While the Ideal Logic Plus Heat H12 has the lowest output of the range, it is perfect for smaller properties with up to 10 radiators. For homes with a higher demand for central heating and hot water, the range also includes output ratings of 15kW, 18kW, 24kW and 30kW.
The Ideal Logic Plus Heat H15 is a compact condensing heat-only gas boiler, which can be installed neatly into your standard kitchen cupboard with easy installation. Despite the boiler’s size, it is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular gas boiler, you will need to accommodate for the cold water tank and feed that is typically located in the attic as well as a hot water cylinder.

The Ideal Logic Plus Heat H15 is one of the range’s least powerful boilers, with an output of only 15kW. However, this output is ideal for homes with up to 10 radiators and a single bathroom. If your home requires a higher demand for central heating and hot water, the Ideal Logic Plus range also has the 18kW, 24kW and 30kW regular boilers available.
The Ideal Logic Plus Heat H18 has an output rating of 18kW which is ideal for properties with up to 15 radiators and a bathroom. If you are looking for a more powerful new or replacement regular gas boiler, then Ideal has designed the Logic Plus Heat H24 and H30 for homes with higher demand. Meanwhile, if your home has less than 15 radiators and therefore a lesser demand for heat, then the H12, H15 could be perfect for you.
Regular boilers are best suited to older properties that have the appropriate existing pipework. However, if you are looking to have a new regular boiler installed, you will need to accommodate for a hot water cylinder and a cold water storage cistern, which is usually installed in the attic.
Regular boilers are fed with cold water from the cistern, this water is then heated and stored in a hot water cylinder for when needed. As a result of needing these additional parts, a regular boiler is not suitable for properties with limited space.
With an output of 24kW, the Ideal Logic Plus Heat H24 is best suited to homes with up to 15 radiators and 1-2 bathrooms. Should your home have more than 15 radiators then there is the more powerful H30 which has a central heating output of 30kW. Smaller outputs are also available in the range and these include 12kW, 15kW and 18kW.
