Designed to be a floor-standing heat-only (regular) boiler, this model is not suitable for properties with limited space. It is also important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular boiler, that you will also need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder (located in an airing cupboard) and a cold water cistern and feed, which is usually installed in the attic.
This is because regular boilers are supplied with cold water from the cistern, this water is then heated in the unit and stored for when needed. On the plus side, regular boilers are great for properties that require instant hot water.
The Mexico HE MEX 15 has a central heating output rating of 14.6kW for central heating making this the ideal unit for homes with around 10 radiators. If your home has a higher demand for central heating, the Mexico HE MEX range has outputs of 18kW, 24kW, 30kW, and 36kW available for larger homes.
The Ideal Mexico HE MEX 18 is one of the least powerful boilers in the range, with an output of 18kW, however, it is perfect for homes with around 10-15 radiators. If your home has a higher demand for central heating, the Mexico HE MEX 24, 30, and 36 are also available with outputs up to 36kW.
Designed to be a floor-standing heat-only (regular) boiler, this model may not be suitable for properties with limited space. It is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular boiler, that you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder (located in an airing cupboard) and a cold water cistern and feed, which is usually installed in the attic.
With an output level of 23kW, the Ideal Mexico HE MEX is ‘Ideal’ (no pun intended), for a home with up to 15 radiators and a bathroom. The Ideal Mexico HE MEX 24 is mid-range when it comes to energy output rating amongst the five regular boilers in the Mexico HE Mex range. If you feel that your home requires a higher demand for central heating, the Mexico HE Mex 30 and 36 are also available. Meanwhile, if your home has less than 15 radiators, the Mexico HE Mex 15 and 18 are also available.
It is also important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular boiler, that you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder (located in an airing cupboard) and a cold water cistern and feed, which is usually installed in the attic. This is because regular boilers are supplied with cold water from the cistern, this water is then heated in the unit and stored for when needed.
The Ideal Mexico HE MEX range has five boilers with different outputs, the Mexico HE Mex 30 being the second most powerful boiler in the range. With an output level of 30kW, this model is perfect for a home with up to 20 radiators and 1-2 bathrooms.
However, if you feel that your home requires a higher demand for central heating, the Mexico HE Mex 36 is also available. Meanwhile, many smaller homes will not require this demand for central heating and hot water, therefore, if your home has between 10 and 15 radiators, the Mexico HE Mex 15, 18 and 24 are also available.
It is important to note when purchasing a new or replacement regular (heat-only) boiler, that you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water tank and also a cold water storage cistern, which is usually installed in the attic. Therefore, if your home has limited space, then it may be more suitable to consider a combi or system boiler.
This model is the most powerful of the five boilers in the Mexico range, with an output of 37kW for central heating. This is powerful enough to heat a property with up to 20 radiators and multiple bathrooms. If you feel that your home does not require this much power, the Ideal Mexico HE MEX 15, 18, 24, and 30 (outputs between 15kW and 30kW) are also available for properties with lesser demand.
It is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement regular boiler you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder as well as a cold water cistern and a feed. This is because regular boilers are fed with cold water directly from the cistern, which is installed in the attic of a home. This water is then heated in the unit and then transferred into a hot water cylinder to be used when needed. For this reason, we do not recommend regular gas boilers for homes with limited space.
