Although the Logic Max H12 is the least powerful regular boiler in this range, it is ‘ideal’ (excuse the pun) for properties with up to 10 radiators and a single bathroom. If your home requires a more powerful boiler with a higher output, the Logic Max range also includes models with outputs of 15kW, 18kW, 24kW and 30kW.

The Ideal Logic Max Heat is designed to heat your central heating system directly and produce hot water for a cylinder. The hot water cylinder is fed by cold water from a storage cistern, typically located in an attic. Bearing this in mind, regular boilers are often not recommended for homes with limited space. But don’t panic, the Ideal Logic Max range is available as a combi and system boiler if needed.

The Ideal Logic Max H15 is middle of the range when it comes to power, however, it is perfect for smaller homes with up to 10 radiators and a single bathroom. If your home requires a more powerful boiler then the Logic Max regular boiler range also includes models with outputs of 18kW, 24kW, and 30kW.

The Ideal Logic Max Heat is a regular boiler that has been designed to provide you with heat and produce hot water for storage in a cylinder. Cold water from a storage cistern is fed to the boiler, typically located in an attic, which is then heated and stored in a hot water tank. This means that regular gas boilers are not suitable for homes with limited space.

However, the boiler unit itself is compact and can be installed easily in a standard kitchen cupboard. If your home does not have the extra space that’s needed for a regular boiler, then there is an option to go for the Ideal Logic Max combi boiler.

The Ideal Logic Max Heat H18 is a compact condensing regular gas boiler, which can be installed neatly into your standard kitchen cupboard. However, in addition to the boiler itself, you will also need a hot water cylinder, cold water tank, and expansion tank installed. For this reason, they are not recommended for homes with limited space.

The Logic Max Heat H18 has an efficiency rating of 93% and an ErP A-rating, which could potentially help you to reduce your energy bills. With an output level of 18kW, the H18 is middle of the range amongst the 5 Logic Heat regular boilers available and ideal for homes with up to 15 radiators and a bathroom.

If you are looking for a new or replacement regular boiler that has a higher output level, the Ideal Logic Max Heat 24kW and 30kW are available, also, if your home does not require this demand of output rating, the 12kW and 15kW are also available.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, this regular boiler can be installed neatly and easily into a standard kitchen cupboard. However, it is important to note that when purchasing a new regular gas boiler, you will need to accommodate space for a cold water cistern (which is usually installed into your attic). This feeds your boiler with cold water that is heated and stored in a hot water cylinder, which you will also need.

For this reason, this model may not be suitable for those with smaller homes and limited space.

The Ideal Logic Max Heat H24 is the second most powerful in its range, with an output rating of 24kW, perfect for homes with up to 15 radiators and 1-2 bathrooms. If your home does not require this amount of energy, the Logic Heat range also offers 12kW, 15kW, and 18kW regular boilers. Meanwhile, if you feel that this model does not meet your demands, the Ideal Logic Max Heat H30 is also available which has an output of 30kW.

With an output rating of 30kW, the H30 is the most powerful in the Logic Max Heat regular boiler range, perfectly suited to larger properties with up to 20 radiators and 1-2 bathrooms. However, many smaller homes will not require this demand for central heating and hot water. In this case, the Ideal Logic Max Heat range also includes the H12 (12kW output), the H15 (15kW output), the H18 (18kW output), and the H24 which has an output of 24kW. These may be better suited to small to medium-sized properties.

A replacement regular boiler is best suited to homes that have the existing pipework needed to connect all parts of the central heating system.

If you are considering purchasing a new regular boiler, it is important to note that although they are great for homes that require instant hot water, you will need space in your home for an additional hot water cylinder and a cold water tank. For this reason, we do not recommend regular boilers for properties with limited space.
