The Baxi 228 Combi boiler has an output of 21.8kW for central heating and an output of 28kW for hot water, making it a suitable combi boiler for homes with up to 15 radiators and the main bathroom. In addition to the Baxi 228, this range also includes the Baxi 224, another combi boiler with a lower domestic hot water output range of 24 kW. The central heating output of the Baxi 228 is the same as the 224 (21.8 kW).
