With an output of 18kW for central heating, this system boiler is ideal for homes with between 10-15 radiators and a single bathroom. However, the benefit of installing a system boiler is that you can have hot water on demand. However, if your house demands less hot water and heating, have a look at the Main Eco Compact 15kW system gas boiler.

This is because system boilers are installed alongside a hot water storage cylinder, usually installed in an airing cupboard or similar sized space in your home. This hot water cylinder is fed with the heated water from the boiler unit and keeps it warm until needed. On the other hand, due to needing this additional hot water tank, system boilers are not ideal for homes with limited space, such as flats.
