The Potterton Assure range is said to be the lightest boiler available on the UK market, with a low-lift weight of only 19.5kg, this will help make installation a lot easier. Although the boiler itself can be fitted in a kitchen cupboard, it is important to note that a regular gas boiler needs to be installed with additional hot water and cold water storage tanks.

For this reason regular boilers are not recommended for smaller homes with limited space. However, if space is not an issue in your home, then a regular boiler is ideal for homes with a high demand for instant hot water.

The Potterton Assure Heat 16kW is one of the least powerful regular boilers in its range, however, it still can heat a smaller home with one bathroom and up to 10 radiators and a single bathroom. If you feel that your home requires a higher demand, this unit is also available in 19kW, 25kW and 30kW, so there’s an option for everyone.
